• Scoping Out Available Rooms

  • Floor plans will be posted under the “Resources” tab on your eRezLife homepage one week before housing selection.
  • 你可以 also browse through rooms on eRezLife 和 see what is available. 如果你喜欢一个房间, add it to your favorites so that you can easily find your favorite rooms when you sign in to select your room!
  • Rising sophomore students will only be able to select from floors 9,11, 15, & 16 和 upper-class 和 graduate students will only be able to select from floors 10, 12, 13, & 14.
    • 请注意: Floor dimensions are not available for any room.

• 室友组

  • If you plan on living in a double or triple room, go ahead 和 make your roommate group!
  • 室友组 allows either roommate, usually the roommate with the earlier time slot, to secure the room for both of you. To create a roommate group, click the “Roommate Group” button on the left-h和 side bar under “住房.”
  • If you are hoping for a single, but want a roommate group to fall back on, you should go ahead 和 choose your roommate group now. 你可以 leave your roommate group 和 select a single if one is available. (Let your potential roommate(s) know what your plan is in advance, so you do not leave them without a backup plan!)
  • Roommate groups can be formed 和 re-grouped throughout housing selection, so if you want to start a roommate group or re-group while you are selecting rooms, you can do that at any time.

• Frequently Asked 问题

  Q: If the application is not timed, how is the order determined?
  A: 住房 applicants will receive a housing selection time. The earlier your timeslot, the better chance you have of getting your preferred room. This is where Polar Points come into play. Those with more Polar Points will receive an earlier selection time. Even if you don’t have any Polar Points, you will still receive a selection time if you 应用 for housing by the deadline.

  Q: How can I find a roommate?
  A: Need help finding a roommate? Complete the 2024-2025 Roommate Search Form. We’ll create a roommate search directory using the information students provide. The sooner you fill out the form, the sooner we can share your profile with other students.

  Q: How can I search for rooms?
  A: Floor plans will be posted on eRezLife on under Resources a week before the first selection day.

  Q: Can I reserve a space if I don’t have a roommate?
  A: 不幸的是,不是. You should try to find a roommate via the resources on eRezLife or 居住生活 will use your preferences listed on your housing application to try to match you with the most compatible roommate available.

  Q: What if I don’t get a roommate or room, I’m happy with?
  A: 居住生活 holds a Room Change Period once a semester (Fall & Spring) to help accommodate changes to students living arrangements.

  Q: What if I don’t get a single room?
  A: After 住房 Selection, 居住生活 will send out a form where students can sign up to be placed on the singles waitlist. If a single room becomes available to offer, we will offer it to the next person on the singles waitlist, based on the order that they signed up in.

  Q: What if there aren’t any rooms available for me to select?
  A: If all of our housing is filled, you will be placed on the housing waitlist. We will reach out to students on the housing waitlist to offer spaces as they become available.

• Exemptions For Living Off-校园

  If you are requesting a 住房 Exemption or Medical Accommodation, the documentation for these requests must be submitted by 2024年3月31日. You may find these documents below.

  Rising 二年级的学生 who would like to be considered exempt from housing 和 live off-campus must complete their request via the 住房 Exemption Form. Your request will be reviewed, 和 you will be notified of your status via email.

  Students who are requesting to be exempt due to a medical or mental health need must also have a Physician Verification Form completed by a medical professional.

  Students who request an exemption due to their mental health will also be asked to be evaluated by an 二甲基砜顾问 .

  Requests to be exempt from housing are due March 31st.

• Medical Accommodations

  Medical Accommodation documents must be turned into the Office of 居住生活 by 2024年3月31日， for priority consideration. After this date it may be harder for us to provide you with an accommodation given changes in availability.

  Any student who would like to live in Andersen Hall 和 requires specific disability accommodation should request housing accommodation via the Physician Verification Form. Current MSM students must submit the required documentation no later than March 31st for priority consideration. 你可以 submit your completed form here. The Office of 居住生活 will make every effort to meet the needs of our students.
